You are invited to attend this forum and to participate in the discussions arising from the information presented. At this year’s forum a number of research providers will present concluding results and discuss how they can be used to inform decision making with respect to the management of Mountain Pine Beetle. Progress of other projects will be presented and will provide an opportunity for attendees to gain an appreciation of the accomplishments of the Mountain Pine Beetle Ecology Program and through discussion, we intend to identify critical information gaps that can be addressed by future research.
The MPBEP relies on this type of input to ensure that research remains aligned with management needs and that we are working toward the achievement of provincial goals and objectives for healthy forests and a vibrant forest economy.
