Biography
Andreas Boecker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Guelph. He received his MSc and PhD at Kiel University in Germany after which he lectured in the Department of Agricultural Policy and Market Research at the University of Giessen in Germany.  In addition to his position as Assistant Professor, Andreas is a part of the AFMNet Project focusing on consumer acceptance of functional foods and is also a member of the International Food Economy Research Group (InFERG) where the vision is to be an international leader in economics-related research and education on the global food economy.
