Research

Dr. Bradshaw's area of expertise is environmental governance as undertaken in a variety of sectors including agriculture, mining and forestry. His interest in and knowledge of genomics is centered on the development, permitting and uptake of biotechnologies in agriculture. His research broadly focuses on environmental governance with applications in mining, agriculture and forestry. With respect to genomics, his research expertise is applicable in two ways: 1) multi-criteria evaluation of biotechnology permitting; and 2) farm-level (production) decision-making.

Biography

Dr. Bradshaw is an Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Guelph. He is also treasurer to the Canadian Association of Geographer's Environment and Resources Study Group, and is a consultant to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the Canadian Biotechnology Advisory Council, Statistics Canada, and the private sector.
