Dr. Amani is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at
Queen’s University. She received her B.A. with Distinction from York, her LL.B.
from Osgoode Hall, and herDoctor of Juridical Science from the University of Toronto.
She is co-instructor and co-coordinator of the International Aspects of
Intellectual Property Course and does policy and consulting for the
Subcommittee to the Advisory Committee on Predictive Genetic Technologies, the
National Network on Environments and Women's Health, the Department of Justice
and the Status of Women Canada, and the Ministry of the Attorney General,
Office of the Legislative Counsel (E-laws project).
