Our focus is on high throughput genomic and proteomic technologies which enable Biomarker Discovery and Biomarker Validation as well as informatics to support these efforts. Much of our focus is on technology development and on providing high quality services to our customer base. We also are involved in numerous research projects covering a variety of disease areas including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infertility. We offer a wide variety of products and services. We are Canada's first and still largest microarray centre. We produce several niche array products and are also providers of services using a number of different commercial technologies. We are a Certified Agilent Service Provider for gene expression, microRNA, arrayCGH, ChIP-on-Chip and methylation. We are Affymetrix Authorised service providers offering services using the entire suite of Affymetrix GeneChip(tm) products. We are also an Illumina service provider offering services for the entire BeadChip line of products. The UHNMAC also provides several services targeted at BioMarker validation such as Nanostring for RNA, miRNA and CNV profiling and BioPlex for protein profiling.
